Pimp stick-A coat hanger that is unraveled, doubled over, and used to whip a prostitute for perceived infractions or for showing a lack of respect for her man. Sometimes it will be heated on a stove to increase the degree of pain.
Player-A person involved in prostitution. Generally refers to a pimp, however, prostitutes also consider themselves "players in the game"
Player's ball-A social event in which pimp will take their mains and mingle with other players. They will go to great lengths to hide these events from the police.

Punked-A word used when a pimp has lost influence on the street. He has been made ineffective through the actions of the police, another pimp, or a prostitute.
Quota-A specified amount of money that the prostitute must earn for the pimp before she can quit for the night.
Recruiter-Refers to a person who selects potential prostitutes, breaks them in, then turns them over to a pimp.
Regular-A customer who seeks out the same prostitute each time. Often they develop a pattern of contact, e.g., every Tuesday evening etc.

Snow-A street term for cocaine.
Soft-A slow night customer wise.
Spotter-A person who watches out for the police, bad dates or other undesirables. Often this action is used to condition a potential prostitute to life on the street. The person might be a girl who is not in the game, or a young man. The spotter's services are often exchanged for coffee, cigarettes, or drugs.
Square / straight-Any male or female not in the "game." A person not affiliated with prostitution.
Square bitch-A female friend who is not a prostitute.
Square boyfriend-Male friend who is not a pimp or in the "life."

Sugar fly-A slightly pejorative term for a pimp that describes his flamboyant appearance and actions. The sugar fly fits the popularized image of a pimp; thus he is almost a caricature of a pimp with overdone, vivid clothing and gestures.
